Things Are Looking Up!

September 9, 2009

Danielle

Danielle has been doing great at her new college and is enjoying having two classes as full time! She’s been getting A’s on all her assignments and just took her mid-term. She studied hard and said “I think I did really well on this one! I don’t think I’ve ever studied as hard on other exams!” She also recieved a take home exam from her second class, which she claimed was a breeze.

In the last article it said that Danielle was thinking of filing and injunction. In the end she told us “I don’t want to be afraid anymore, and quite frankly, if he thinks he can show his face to me again, I’ll make sure to give him a peice of my mind!”. But even after things have settled down, Danielle is still having some hostility with her mother, and vice versa. The stress of the bad economy, and of another family member leaving is taking it’s toll on her family, and her stress. Only time will tell if things will get better for her.

Louie

Louie has been attending his first semester at college and he says that “It’s a lot harder, and not as fun as high school. I don’t like some of my teachers.” Hopefully things will get better for him, and that he’ll be able to adapt and flourish in his years to come at college, and then at university. He says that he’s planning on going into Pre-Med, which was a choice of his sister when she first started attending. She has long since changed her choice. Louie says he’s going into pharmacy or something similar.

Carol

Carol has moved out of the house and into an apartment building not too far away from where the rest of the family lives. Danielle visits her often. Carol was at first hesitant about moving, but is now enjoying a stress free life.

Joe

Joe is having all of his dreams coming true. He is now the proud owner of his own home, has a lovely girlfriend who he says he wants to get engaged to, and is now a proud father of a baby on the way!

Danielle

After leaving UCF for good, Danielle is now fully settled in her new college, Columbia College. This new college will allow her to take two classes to be full time! This leaves her with plenty of time to do homework, and even get somewhat of a life!

“I’m excited, things are starting to look up.” During her General Studies degree she hopes to get a minor in either English, or Biology. Another great surprise is that her GPA will start at 4.0…and she found out that she is still eligible for Financial Aid.

But things can’t always be good. A man who was soon to be her step father left the home in a rage. He did this without warning, and only a few days later he was at their home, pounding on their door, with a huge U-HAUL parked out front…planning to clean the place out. Danielle, with her stress condition had a panic attack. She is now thinking of filing and injunction against him.

Louie

Louie has been hit hard with the fiance’s leaving…and shortly afterward he recieved another blow when his girlfriend left him. He’s been trying to put the relationship back together…but without much sucess. On a good note, he is successfully signed up for classes at BCC.

Carol

Carol has also been hit by the fiance leaving, but would give no information about how she was effected.

Joe

Joe is having a great time with life, enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend. He is being a great sport with his family members coming to him for support during these hard times.

Danielle

Well, things haven’t gone the way Danielle planned. She is now transfering to a new college and believes she will enjoy this a lot more than her previous university. “With the large class and ignorant teachers, it was hard to get anything done there!” Danielle believes that the smaller class sizes will make her feel more at home, and maybe she’ll be able to get more attention and help from her professors.

Onto another thing. Though she applied and called time and again, the ministry she wanted to work for decided to hire someone else. She is still trying to find a way, most likely loans from the bank, to pay for her college tuition, classes, and books.

Louie

Louie is still working at McDonalds. With his graduation complete, his job is trying to get him working full time with some interesting tactics, such as changing his schedule without his knowledge and then calling him up. He has been so stressed out from work that it is causing him to feel nautious and have stomach pains. He thinks, but doesn’t know, if it could be an ulcer.

To help with this situation, the chores have been re-arranged to suit his needs. He no longer has to worry about the dishes, that will be his sister’s job from now on. That doesn’t mean he’ll get off easy. He now has the vacuming and the floors added on to his list. Luckily, these chores only have to be done once a week.

Carol

Carol has been working hard in the art world. With plenty of new articles mosted on top online magazine sites, she seems to be getting more publicity. She’s also decided to write a few tutorials about how to make art. These can be found at http://caroltaylor.wordpress.com/

Joe

Joe has been doing his best to keep in contact with his family through text messages and phone calls. He always sends emails that put a smile on his family’s face. He is currently enjoying his life and has a nice, stable relationship with his girlfriend.

With Louie’s graduation over and done Danielle Will e looking from a job at a ministry. She’s been trying to find her calling and believes she has found it at last.

“I hope my family and friends will pray for be to get this job!” She said enthusiastically.

Louie is thrilled to be done with school and wishes to devote his life more to his weight lifting goals. With newfound freedom, Louie is going to make the best of his summer vacation as he prepares for his college career in the fall. He still hasn’t decided at a college or what he is going to become, but he knows that he will go to college…that is an absolute.

Carol is still working on her self portrait, so the time limit in which it will be shown to the public has changed. She did not give any comment on when it will be released, but circumstances in life have slowed down her progress. One thing is set in stone, when it is released she will send out an art newsletter, so others will be informed.

Joe came to celebrate his brother’s graduation and enjoyed four days with his family. These days consisted of buying cards, hanging out, and playing rockband with his family. He returned back to Virginia on Monday and his siblings can’t wait for him to come to visit.
